Our Story

The ancient Greek storyteller Aesop told a fable called "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse". Its moral was that life's simple pleasures bring you comfort and happiness. At Town Mouse we bring this to our guests.

First and foremost we are a coffee shop. Our mission is to deliver exceptional coffee from our first to our last cup. We source beautiful coffee from 19grams and serve them in the finest porcelain from ACME in New Zealand.

Our food offering is humble with an emphasis on quality ingredients from Berlin. Kiwis call grilled cheese on toast a 'Mouse Trap'. Our mouse traps use delicious sourdough and gorgeous cheeses from La Käserie. Take a moment to indulge, switch off, enjoy a bite and relax.

Established in 2021 by a group of hardworking mice from Germany and New Zealand and now proudly serving Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin.
